Ao contrário de outras congéneres são dóceis. Podem ser manipuladas com facilidade, uma característica que se admite tenha sido desenvolvida durante a sua evolução num território sem predadores terrestres, o que faz com estes seres também se aproximem dos seres humanos em busca de comida.
The ferry Lobo Marinho, returns for one more day trip to Porto Santo, the second largest island of Madeira archipelago. O ferry Lobo Marinho, regressa de mais uma viagem diária ao Porto Santo, a segunda maior ilha do arquipélago da Madeira. No verão, chega a fazer duas viagens por dia em cada sentido, para responder à procura pela ilha que é conhecida pela sua extensa praia de sete quilómetros de areia dourada. Por isso, também a chamam "Ilha dourada", um pouco também à cor que adquire toda a ilha no Verão, mais seco.

As in all Mondays, the ferry Volcan de Tijarafe comes quietly in the distance, on Garajau rock, and arrives at Funchal, coming from Portimão, Algrave in southern Portugal. At the end of the day goes to Tenerife, Canary Islands, and returns to Madeira on Saturday, after going through another Spanish island, Gran Canaria.

Fortaleza de Nossa Senhora da Conceição. Construção da primeira metade do século XVII. Ao longo da sua existência, tem servido para muitos fins, quase sempre com a presença militar. Há uns anos passou para fins privados. Fizeram obras de restauro que recuperaram mas desvirturam a sua origem. Foi resturante em diversos formatos e hoje é um concorrido centro de animação. Chama-se Molhe e fica no Porto do Funchal.

Recently held an exhibition of vintage motorcycles in Funchal, in the space created for this purpose in the Regional Secretariat of Tourism and Transport. Among the examples that I met, I saw this. This is not a motorcycle. It's just a kind of bicycle or tricycle very, very old.
Recentemente, realizou-se uma exposição de motas antigas no Funchal, no espaço criado para o efeito na Secretaria Regional do Turismo e Transportes. Entre os exemplares que lá encontrei, vi este. Não se trata de uma mota, antes de uma espécie de bicicleta ou de triciclo muito, muito antigo.
One of the windows of the cathedral of Funchal, the oldest most monument of the island. Construction began in the late fifteenth year of the discovery of Madeira by the Portuguese and continued by the beginning of the next century. Over the years have been remodeled. I could say that is a magnificent monument, but as I am not "painter". I say that has its own architecture, and undoubtedly value.

Uma das janelas da sé do Funchal, o monumento mais antigo da ilha. A construção começou no final do século XV, ano da descoberta da Madeira pelos portugueses, e prolongou-se pelo início do seguinte. Ao longo dos tempos têm sido obras de restauro. Poderia dizer que é um monumento magnífico, mas como não sou "pintor", digo que tem a sua arquitectura própria, e, indiscutivelmente valor.
