I made this photo a few weeks ago. Is a flash mob that took place near the cathedral where youth thanked the completion of their summer fun activities. 

In Funchal old town there is a different proposition with ordinary doors painted by artists. This is one. 

A different perspectiv of Quinta Vigia gardens, the official redidence of Madeira president. The entrance is free and it's a good option to visit and see all flowers and have the oportunity to see the bay. 

This is one of the bridges of the city street named Cota 40. I see this lines and I liked. Because that I make this photo to share with you. 

This is a machine of the old sugar factory Torreão. Today it's a memory because they destroyed all things to do a public garden. Is a new pleasant place but they erased part of our history. 

I don't have much to say about this photo. It's about our cat named Pintas. She is the old one of two that we have in our house. 

Costa Deliziosa cruise ship leaves Funchal port. I like this photo because it seems to be making a tight turn and remains tilted to the left. 

Red flowers in Quinta das Cruzes museum near the main and historic house. 

I did this picture in a place named Álamos, a residential place in Funchal city. I like the architecture of the balcony with all those flowers. 

I made this photograph in the gardens of Quinta das Cruzes Museum. The object is simple but I liked the composition of the curve that divides the grasse green and dark gray stones of Madeira island traditional floor. 

A view to Casa Museu Frederico de Freitas. I like the pink colors with different shades. 

This all things are exposed in Quinta das Cruzes museum. You can see first a "pelourinho", also popularly referred to as picota. Is a stone pillar placed in a public place in a city or town where they were exposed and punished criminals. Today don't exist in Madeira island or in all Portugal. A tradution to english show me that pelourinho means pillory. I don't if it's the same. 

This was a famous pastry in Funchal city that closed so many years ago. The name "Confeitaria Felisberta" it's almost erased and the building needs atention like we can see.

Esta é a famosa pastelaria no Funchal que fechou há muitos muitos anos. O nome "Confeitaria Felisberta" está quase apagado e o edifício precisa de alguma atenção conforme se pode ver.

The cruise ship Oriana arrives today slowly to Funchal port where are another thwo cruise ships: Grand Mistral and Saga Ruby. In total, there are 5.000 passegengers and crew. The building near the ship is the cathedral.

O navio de cruzeiros Oriana chega calmamente ao Porto do Funchal onde estão outros dois paquetes: o Grand Mistral e o Saga Ruby. No total, estão no porto cerca de 5.000 pesssoas entre passageiros e tripulantes. A edificação junto ao navio é a sé do Funchal.

I take this Photo in Quinta das Cruzes museum, where we can see historic things and also a beautifull garden. It's my tribute in this World Tourism Day to all tourists, in particular to all more than 1 milion thar came to Madeira island every year.

 This green plant was small. But the time has passed and the plant grew, grew and grew and today is a big one. I make this photo just because the color contrast between the light green plant with the brown cabinet.
