Cruise ships are betting increasingly diversified access for passengers. In the Independence of the Seas, the company has created conditions for them to surf the bow of the ship, with the wind to the face and nothing else ahead unless the sea.

One day I went through the Marina of Funchal. Passing by one of the sailboats I saw a piece of paper what attracted my attention. Showing its location on the island of Madeira and the direction it would take to get to Cape Verde. What I conclude is that not always the closest road is the fastest, at least in terms of sailing. As you can see, the best course is to catch the snake best winds.

I will reveal a secret. In the city where I was born and alive we built ships. Thats true ... We built, but only small models or models of plastic to mount. What this picture seems to show is an illusion to the new platform of Funchal in construction in the foreground, and the cruise ship for P&O Oriana, in another of his many stints in the city.
