The spectacle of pyrotechnics, inserted at the Atlantic Festival, entered third day, last Saturday. With the theme "Madeira, flower name", the Grupo Luso Pirotecnia filled the skies of Funchal bay with color and harmony.
O espectáculo de pirotecnia, inserido no Festival do Atlântico, entrou no terceiro dia, no último sábado. Com o tema "Madeira, nome de flor", o Grupo Luso Pirotecnia encheu o céu da baía do Funchal de cor e harmonia.
Last Saturday brought magic to the skies over the city of Funchal. It was the second day of fire-Fireworks Atlantic Festival, and an unforgettable night.
The Portuguese company "HC & Filhos, Ltda" was responsible and brought to the bay the show called "Magic in the Air". And that's what we have seen, a perfect combination of fire and music, perfectly articulated with the rockets. There was only a little more smoke at the end almost forgotten by the closure memorable.

O último sábado trouxe magia ao céu da cidade do Funchal. Foi o segundo dia de fogo-de-artifício do Festival do Atlântico, e uma noite inolvidável.
A empresa portuguesa "HC & Filhos", Lda. foi a responsável e trouxe até à baía o espectáculo designado “Magia no Ar”. E foi o que se viu, numa perfeita conjugação de fogo e música, perfeitamente articulada com os foguetes. Apenas houve um pouco de fumo a mais no final quase esquecido pelo encerramento memorável.
The Atlantic Festival is held in Funchal, every year in June. Held every Saturday, with fireworks mixed with music. In the end, one of four competitors is elected winner.

O Festival do Atlântico realiza-se no Funchal, todos os anos no mês de Junho. Decorre todos os sábados, com fogo-de-artifício misturado com música. No final, um dos quatro concorrentes é eleito vencedor.
The Festival of the Atlantic is an important event in Madeira island, where Funchal is the capital.
Is an relevant event that combines entertainment and culture. It has three components: the Madeira Music Festival, the International Fireworks Competition and performances by philharmonic bands in the city centre.
These photo is from last saturday when the fireworks competition started with Italy and it's company Parente Fireworks.
Next saturday will be Russia, with it's company Pyrotechnic Yards of Peterholf, and, in next, on 20th will be Germany, with it'sm company IP Innovate Pyrotechnick.
Finnaly, on 27th Portugal, with it's company Macedos Pirotecnia, close the festival.
However, Portugal, as an organizer, not to enter the competition.
