congratulations for 6 years of Funchal Daily Photo site
Today is a special day.
The calendar marks the 29th of April.
After about 2,200 posts, with one or more daily photos of the city of Funchal, capital of Madeira Island, today is the day to congratulate the site Funchal Daily Photo because it makes 6 years.
Therefore, this photograph shows the cathedral clock Funchal, which is also the site icon, to show that arrived at 6 in this case are hours but, for me, the clock shows a 6 that is what matters to the connection to the anniversary.
The minutes passing the Cathedral clock translate my commitment to continue walking, increasingly with redoubled responsibility to earn the trust of all those who follow me daily worldwide.
I confess that has not been easy to stay focused in order to continue to seek different frameworks of Funchal.
Fortunately, I get every day words of encouragement from people in others countries recognizing my work. Most had never been to Madeira and confesses that feel like to visit. Other not only said as they came, photographed and made it to publish what they saw and showed that Funchal Daily Photo initiated the trip.
But there are also those who already were in Funchal and like to continue to see a city that say they enjoyed very much.
For now, many islanders know the site. Among them, I am proud to have earned recognition of words and encouragement of Dr. Miguel Albuquerque, then Mayor of Funchal and is now president of the Regional Government of Madeira.
In the near future, Funchal Daily Photo website will appear completely renovated to give a new impetus and meet the quality standards that the project deserves.
In addition, everything combines to purchase a new camera equipment that together will allow Funchal Daily Photo remains a reference.
These two aspects will only become possible due to the implementation of Funchal Daily Photo Project by PPL Crowndfunding Portugal platform that has managed and that within a short time will closed the period when he was gathering support for the materialization of proposing me .
A final note to mention that the statue that is also seen in the photograph is of João Gonçalves Zarco, the first Portuguese who arrived on the island of Madeira in 1419.
Who followed all these years and motivated me to continue,

O calendário assinala o dia 29 de abril.
Depois de cerca de 2.200 posts, com uma ou mais fotografias diárias da cidade do Funchal, a capital da ilha da Madeira, hoje é dia de dar os parabéns ao site Funchal Daily Photo porque faz 6 anos. Por isso, esta fotografia mostra o relógio da catedral do Funchal, que é igualmente o ícone do site, a mostrar que chegou às 6, neste caso são horas mas, para mim, o relógio evidencia um 6 que é o que interessa para fazer a ligação ao aniversário.
Os minutos que passam no relógio da Sé traduzem o meu compromisso em continuar a caminhar, cada vez mais com redobrada responsabilidade de merecer a confiança de todos quantos me seguem diariamente em todo o mundo.
Confesso que não tem sido fácil manter o foco no sentido de continuar a procurar enquadramentos diferentes da cidade do Funchal.
Felizmente, recebo todos os dias palavras de estímulo de pessoas de outros países que reconhecem o meu trabalho.
A maior parte nunca esteve na Madeira e confessa que sente vontade de a visitar. Outros não só o disseram como vieram, fotografaram e fizeram questão de publicar o que viram e evidenciaram que Funchal Daily Photo esteve na origem da viagem. Mas também existem os que já estiveram no Funchal e gostam de continuar a ver uma cidade que dizem ter gostado muito.
Por cá, muitos madeirenses conhecem o site. Entre eles, orgulho-me de ter merecido palavras de reconhecimento e de incentivo do Dr. Miguel Albuquerque, então presidente da Câmara Municipal do Funchal e que hoje é presidente do Governo Regional da Madeira.
Nos próximos tempos, o site Funchal Daily Photo vai surgir completamente renovado para dar um novo impulso e apresentar a qualidade que o projeto merece.
Além disso, tudo se conjuga para que adquira um novo equipamento fotográfico que, em conjunto, vão permitir que Funchal Daily Photo continue a ser uma referência.
Estas duas vertentes só se tornarão possíveis devido à concretização do projeto de Funchal Daily Photo, através da plataforma PPL Crowndfunding Portugal que o geriu e que dentro de pouco tempo dará por encerrado o período em que esteve a reunir apoios para a materialização do que me propunha.
Uma nota final para referir que a estátua que se vê igualmente na fotografia é de João Gonçalves Zarco, o primeiro português que chegou à ilha da Madeira em 1419.
A quem me acompanhou estes anos todos e me motivou a continuar, só me resta agradecer do fundo do coração.
