The operation of Pullmantur Cruises in Madeira made through the port of Funchal 20,884 transit passengers in the 24 scales that the two ships of the Spanish operator (Atlantic Star and Pacific Dream, in photo) performed between 10 April and 18 September this year.
To add to this number, the data provided by JMF Shipping, the company that brokered the Madeiran two vessels during the operation in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, there have been the 1,000 passengers, mostly locals, who boarded in Funchal. To be more precise, boarded 973 passengers and landed 986.

  3. Hello Paulo.

I came to thank you for becoming a follower of The Third Column.

I have now become a follower of your blog too - not to reciprocate but because I like your photos. You are right, it is good to see other parts of the world and, in climate and scenery, Dorset (England) and Madeira are very different. However. they are both by the sea and that is a great link.

And speaking of links . . . I came here through your comment on my blog but when I tried through your entry as a 'Follower' - it said your blog does not exist! You might want to check out why that is. It would be a shame if people can't reach it.
