This was the latest European Golden Shoe won by the Portuguese footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, who was born in Funchal, Madeira. It's exhibited in the Museum CR7 that brings together in Madeira the entire collection of awards, distinctions and many other things related to the Real Madrid player and selection of Portugal.

Esta foi a última bota de ouro conquistada pelo jogador de futebol português, Cristiano Ronaldo, que nasceu no Funchal, na Madeira. Está exposta no Museu CR7 que reúne na ilha da Madeira toda a coleção de prémios, distinções e muitas outras coisas relacionadas com o jogador do Real Madrid e da Seleção de Portugal.

This morning there was a solar eclipse.
In Funchal was visible for a few moments, one morning with many clouds. I have not had opportunity to capture the eclipse because I had other things to do but always got this photo during the period when it was happening and to leave the city with a dark and dimmed light.
Here, the sun's rays that the moon was not covering tear through the clouds.

Esta manhã aconteceu um eclipse do sol.
No Funchal foi visível por alguns momentos, numa manhã com muitas nuvens. Eu não tive oportunidade de captar o eclipse porque tinha outras coisas a fazer mas sempre consegui este momento durante o período em que estava a acontecer e a deixar a cidade com uma luz escura e esbatida.
Aqui, os raios do sol que a lua não tapava rasgam por entre as nuvens.

This is a low relief unveiled these days in Funchal.
It is a tribute to Bernard Harvey Foster who brought to Madeira in 1904 the first car.
The idea of this tribute was it's for the economist Eduardo Jesus who just released a book about that historic moment.

 Este é um baixo relevo descerrado por estes dias na cidade do Funchal.
É uma homenagem a Bernard Harvey Foster que trouxe à Madeira em 1904 o primeiro automóvel.
A ideia desta homenagem nasceu do economista madeirense Eduardo Jesus que acaba de lançar um livro acerca daquele momento histórico.
