The flowers are always present in times of joy and sorrow.
Today I dedicate these flowers to our uncle Aurélio that many years ago changed their Madeira to the Algarve where he married and had children.
Unfortunately, health would not let him stick around longer and "left" this Friday. Maybe he's now with his brother Emílio who "left" us for about three months.

As flores estão sempre presentes nos momentos de alegria e de tristeza.
Hoje dedico estas flores ao tio Aurélio que há muitos anos trocou a sua Madeira pelo Algarve onde casou e teve filhas.
Infelizmente, a saúde não o deixou ficar por cá mais tempo e "partiu" esta sexta-feira. Talvez esteja agora com o irmão Emílio que "partiu" há cerca de três meses.

This is the church in the cemetery for foreigners in Rua da Carreira. The construction of the cemetery date of 1771. Its area was increased in 1852 due to the increase of British citizens on the island, which is why it is also called the "British cemetery". In the Old Burial Ground are buried some notable personalities such as Richard Thomas Lowe and Paul Langenhans, doctor and researcher who discovered the "cell Langenhans".

Igreja no cemitério para "estrangeiros" na Rua da Carreira. A construção do cemitério data de 1771. A sua área cresceu em 1852, devido ao aumento de cidadãos britânicos na ilha. Por isso é também é chamado de "cemitério britânico".
No Old Burial Ground estão enterrados algumas personalidades notáveis como Richard Thomas Lowe e Paul Langenhans, médico e pesquisador que descobriu o "Langenhans celulares".
