O "Anthem of the Seas fez ontem a primeira viagem à Madeira. Há pouco mais de um mês a fazer cruzeiros, o navio da Royal Caribbean quebrou um recorde do porto do Funchal que vinha de 2004 quando então o Queen Mary 2 estreou.
Fui a bordo ontem e estamos na presença de um navio magnífico. Não me causou espanto que este cruzeiro estivesse esgotado. O navio passou pela Madeira com 4.499 passageiros e 1.551 tripulantes.
Esta fotografia assinala a estreia do novo equipamento fotográfico que adquiri. Realmente é uma evolução incomparável.

The Calçada Portuguesa (Portuguese Calçada) is very present in the city of Funchal. While there are many different figures in different streets and avenues, the João Tavira Street will be bringing together more diverse and also greater number of figures related to traditions of Madeira, like this one with the Madeira tobogan or "basket cars" or carros de cestos in portuguese.

A Calçada Portuguesa está muito presente na cidade do Funchal. Embora existam muitas figuras diferentes nas diversas ruas e avenidas, a Rua de João Tavira deverá ser a que reúne maior diversidade e igualmente maior número de figuras relacionadas com tradições da ilha da Madeira, como este carro de cestos.
