Two flags in an official building. The green an red it's from Portugal, my country. And the other one, blue and yellow, it's from Madeira Autonomous Region, where I live. Normaly, they put the flags on weekends and public holidays.

Duas bandeiras hasteadas no edifício oficial.
Flowers, flowers and more flowers. A few days ago I showed a lot of pots with flowers that are in the city streets. Today, because I already wrote that the island of Madeira is known for its flowers, I show some more flowers. I like the color palette. The flowers palette.

Looks like a monster but it is not. This is a setting on the rocky coast of Funchal. It is called Ponta da Cruz (you can see the cross up there) and besides being the most southerly point of the island of Madeira is also the most southern point of Portugal with people. This is because, without inhabitants, Madeira also has two island groups to the south: the Desertas, closer, we can see from the Madeira, and the Selvagens (wild), coming to be closer to the Canary Islands than the archipelago to which they belong.

Another day of baptism in Funchal port. The Vision of the Seas, although not a new ship this year alone, passed on Madeira island on April or May due to the change of season and position in Europe to make summer cruises.
